What is it that makes us want to tell a story? To whom, for whom, about whom? Our lives ARE the stories, of course. Every one of them. And that, I think, is why we want to tell and why we want to read about things both familiar and strange.

My notebooks, filled with scenes of the past, day-in-the-life vignettes, moments in time, poetry, fiction, in which I have expressed my hopes, disappointments, and despair, give me a basis to draw on for what I hope will be my best story-telling. To be determined…

I am a wanderer in bookstores and libraries, until lost. Time is irrelevant. I take my inspiration from all; there is something to be learned from all.
